Where Does the Mineral Water Originate? The thermal mineral waters at the O Spa were used by the Cahuilla Indians for over one thousand years and are unique as they are one of the few odorless thermal mineral springs in North America. All of our pools are filled with this natural mineral spring water which originates 1000’s of feet underground and comes to the surface at a temperature of over 112 f/44 c. We maintain the temperature of the main pool between 87f/30c and 90f/32c in the winter and 85f/29c-87f/30c in the Summer. The large spa/Jacuzzi at 104F/40c, while the smaller cowboy hot in the back garden can be used as a cold plunge or can be heated upon request. Temperatures for the Turkish shower which is also located in the back-garden averages 112f/44c but may vary slightly as the water comes directly from the deep aquifer.
